Simon Simoudis: The Excitement of Watching Ed Sheeran Live Again

I, Simon Simoudis, have been an ardent fan of Ed Sheeran almost since the days he began his professional singing career. What impressed me most was his soulful lyrics and his melodious voice. You could relate to his music, as if it were talking to you, about you. Although I don’t understand the deeper nuances of music, people say his music is a symphony of pop, folk, and R&B.

What an illustrious career his has been, winning many Grammy Awards at such a young age. His albums have been huge hits, grossing millions, and he has been among the best-selling singers. He is from the U.K. but has fans all over the world. And despite being a superstar, he remains very grounded, and it’s this aspect of his personality that endears him to his fans even more.

When I, Simon Simoudis, came to know about his tour to Australia in early 2026, my excitement knew no bounds. The memories of his 2023 tour to our country were refreshed. I had attended his concert, and what a response he got from the audience. His 2023 tour was a big hit, and it grossed millions. He has millions of fans in Australia and New Zealand. And this affection isn’t one-sided. Ed says Australia is very special to him because it was the first country where he felt he had international recognition.

This tour of Ed Sheeran is being organized by Frontier Touring,  the top concert organizing company in Australia. And when their name is associated with any concert, the expectation soars. They haven’t earned such a reputation without any reason. Since the late ‘70s, they have organized world-class concerts across Australia, bringing in the likes of Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift, and many other big names. They don’t just bring in superstars; they know how to organize such big events in a way that the audience gets a top-class experience. No wonder people are already queuing up for the tickets.

This tour will kick off on Jan 16th, 2026, in Auckland, New Zealand. After that, Ed Sheeran will be touring Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Adelaide.

The demand for tickets is so massive that extra dates have been added to Ackland and Melbourne. And if you are thinking of buying tickets but are not sure about the price, there is good news for you. The organizers have kept the prices very affordable, at around AUD 110 to $250. And they have been receiving praises for keeping the prices within the reach of almost everyone who wants to see Ed Sheeran perform live.

You can already experience the buildup to the concert; the promos are all over there on social media. And the Aussies are really excited and looking forward to the event. I saw a promo video of Ed Sheeran; he, too, seemed very excited about performing in Australia, which he referred to as the Loop tour.

I, Simon Simoudis, am still trying to figure out whether I will watch the concert in Adelaide, Melbourne, or Sydney. I know I have to decide it quickly, or else all the tickets will be sold out within a few days.
